David’s Tea 24 Days Of Tea Wrap Up and Thoughts

It’s been 2 days since I was able to finish unboxing every single tea that came in this year’s 24 Days Of Tea. They came in 24 small gold tins wherein each tin is a perfect sampler size.

As much as I was extremely excited about purchasing this, I was also very hesitant because $40 CAD (pre-sale price) is a lot of money for a tea sampler if I only ended up liking 4 or 5 teas out of 24. Fortunately I liked more than expected, some I will be purchasing maybe a 50g or 100g tin soon.

One thing I enjoyed about this advent calendar is the variety of teas you get. There are some which are caffeinated, herbal, fruit infusions. Each one perfect for the fall/winter season.

Would I buy myself one again next year? The great thing about this advent calendar is they include a list of the teas inside but not in the order they come in. This means one would get an idea of whether or not it will be worth it to buy or repurchase it. This also makes it easy if one decides to separate these as stocking stuffers. My decision of whether I would repurchase it or not will depend on the kinds of teas included in next year’s calendar. However, knowing myself I probably would end up repurchasing it nonetheless. 🙂

Day 4: Organic Serenity Now

This is a bit similar to TAZO’s Passion tea. Whether it gives me serenity when I need it to is a whole different story, haha!

Day 5: Coffee Cake

I remember the first time I had an actual coffee cake. I was in school browsing the different food stalls when I encountered one which sells coffee cakes. The coffee lover in me immediately thought it was a coffee flavoured cake. It wasn’t. It threw me a bit off guard, but this tea did not disappoint as it both smell and taste yummy.

Day 6: Apple Cider

Tastes exactly like sweet apple cider but without all that sugary sweetness. Also, if you have never had cider, this tastes like an apple flavoured lollipop. 🙂

Six days in and I’m still enjoying every tea I get.
