Reading
I am currently reading two books at the same time for a change: Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll; and The Inexplicable Logic Of My Life by Benjamin Alire Sáenz. I’ve been wanting to read Through the Looking Glass for a while now so I decided to start from the beginning before going straight to it. Also, I have throughly enjoyed Sáenz’s Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe that I decided to give him another try.

Writing
More in general. I made myself an Excel blog organization sheet which caters to what I need and it has been working so far. I stopped beating myself up about not being to post regularly and it helped a lot. None of the work I need to do is scheduled, but I feel more motivated.

Listening

Smelling
Nothing. First week of fall and I might be catching a cold.

Wishing
I am currently wishing for a healthy baby number 2. We saw her the other day during our ultrasound appointment and it’s surreal that once again I’m growing a human being.

Hoping
World Peace.

Wearing
I have this pyjama set I got last Christmas which has “Trophy Wife” written on it. It easily became only of my favourites as it has a matching set with my daughter’s which says “Trophy Child”. My husband also has a pair of boxers which says “Trophy Husband” on it.

Loving
Chocolate covered almonds.

Needing
More patience. I’m going to have two little adorable kids soon, and I need to be more patient with them and remember they don’t just come out knowing what they’re supposed to do. That’s what parents and other family members are here for: to help them grow up a good person.

Feeling
Nostalgia has hit me hard for the past few weeks. In 2 weeks, we we attended two weddings and I started reminiscing of when my husband and I got married. It wasn’t as fancy. We got married in a hotel penthouse room paid for by aunt and uncle as a wedding present surrounded by our friends and family. Since then, it’s been one of the happiest days of my life.
